Jason auditioned on San Fransisco with his own version of the Billy Joel classic "New York State Of Mind", passing to bootcamp.
He sung " Titanium" by David Guetta and Sia on task 1 on bootcamp, passing onto stage 2 succesfuly.
He passed to judges' houses, being mentored by LA Reid (over 25´s). He sang "Big Girls Don´t Cry" by Fergie, impressing everyone with his voice, and advancing to the live shows, where he sang the Jennifer Lopez song "Dance Again" and got his fondest wish, an onstage glitter explosion. His mentor, LA Reid, even fondly referred to Jason as "Mr. Entertainment".
Jason was eliminated on November 8, 2012 after the judges went into deadlock with only his mentor LA Reid and fellow judge Britney Spears voting to keep him on the show.
